Poker Run and BBQ Friday June 21st 2024
FRIDAY: POKER RUN & BBQ
Registration will begin around 1:00 and first cars should be out by 1;30. As in the past, the cost will be $5:00/hand. This year's Poker Run will be in the Wasaga Beach area and on the Beach. We want to support our local community and our Town. Andy Payne and his team have put a great route together that will give our visitors and locals the opportunity to enjoy the longest freshwater beach in the world.
Cash prizes for the top three hands, and hang on to your ticket for a draw following the run. Andy has arranged for some prizes for the non hand winners.
Following the Poker Run will be the Napoleon BBQ. For members not participating in the Poker Run, wristbands will be available for $5:00. We will be starting the BBQ earlier this year. We are hoping to have people eating by 4:30 - 4:45. Thanks to the effort and support of some of our members, desserts will be available.
FUN RUN Saturday June 22nd 2024
Our gates officially open at 8:00, As in the past, Registration is $10:00/ car and all cars entering the grounds will pay. We have gift bags, Tee Shirts and Dash Plaques at Registration.
We have a great day planned, Wayne Miles has arranged for close to 40 vendors - from car products and accessories to ladies and kids vendors to food vendors. As in the past "Linda's Eating Place" will have Peameal and Coffee available early. The REMAX BALLOON will be on site, thanks to Michelle Seip for arranging this for us. Charlie Tabone will be providing entertainment and we will be using the stage for more promotion.
We will be having an Official Opening at 10:00 with the support of the Town and MPP.
As in the past, the 'Top Ten' awards will be for non members, however we have two custom made trophies that will be for members only and two 'Special Interest' awards open to everyone. Two of our sponsors are also presenting awards of their own that they will pick.
The People Mover was a great addition last year and this year we will have two available. Both will be pulled by 'Classic' Tractors and operated by their owners, who have donated their time and equipment to bring them to the Show.
